Clive Nelson

Clive Nelson is the Managing Partner of Chan & Naylor Parramatta and leads a team of proactive property and business tax accountants at Oatlands, in the Parramatta region. Clive’s areas of expertise also include Asset Protection and Business & Financial Structuring.

Prior to his career in public practice and current role as Managing Partner for Chan & Naylor Parramatta, Clive spent a number of years in corporate banking, involved particularly, with tax based structured financing.

Clive has established a diversified portfolio of properties through a number of investment strategies and draws on his depth of experience as both an accountant and an investor to help clients grow and protect their wealth. Clive Nelson graduated from UTS with a B.Bus in Accounting, is a qualified CPA, holds a post-graduate diploma in applied finance & investment, as well as being an authorised SMSF advisor and has been a tax agent for 35 years.

Clive has been in public practice for 25 years, nearly 15 of which have been with Chan & Naylor with considerable experience in small business and Self Managed Superannuation Funds as well as property.

Nishant Bhardwaj

Nishant Bhardwaj started as a Client Manager at Chan & Naylor Parramatta office in 2017. Nishant holds a Bachelor of Business Administration & Professional Accounting and is a certified Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand. With over eight years of experience in accounting and business services, he specialises in taxation and business advisory for HNWIs, Small to medium businesses and SMSFs.

He is also dedicated to assisting his clients in practical ways including identifying government grants and subsidies that are available for their businesses. As well Nishant also has a forte in implementing cloud based solutions to simplify their day to day activities.

His experience includes managing a diverse portfolio of clients across numerous industries.

Rachel Nguyen

Rachael Nguyen has been a Client Manager at Chan & Naylor Parramatta since 2017. Having over eight years of experience in accounting and business services, Rachael currently manages a diverse portfolio of clients across numerous industries. Rachael specialises in taxation and business advisory, small to medium sized businesses, investment trusts and self-managed superannuation funds.

Exceptionally motivated, Rachael welcomes any opportunity to learn and thrives on developing her expertise. Particularly in the areas of self-managed superannuation and strategic advice.

As an Accountant with a particular focus on detail, Rachael’s analytical and problem solving abilities are a perfect match for her compliance expertise. She is proficient in Cloud based solutions software and enjoys assisting and training clients on their day to day bookkeeping.

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Professional Accounting and is a Certified Practising Accountant in Australia. She is also a Certified Xero Adviser.

Debbie Mooy

Debbie started at Chan& Naylor Parramatta in February 2014 and is a valuable team member who keeps the office organised and functioning seamlessly. Her many duties involve reception, general office administration and office management. Debbie also organises the ordering and processing of Company, Trust and Superannuation structures.

Debbie’s position not only requires her to be highly organised and flexible to meet various deadlines, but also cheerful and approachable for clients and team members alike. Debbie achieves these tasks with ease and strives to be courteous, professional and willing to assist wherever necessary.

 

 

  

 

Emily Yan

Emily Yan

Emily Yan has been with Chan & Naylor Parramatta since 2015.  Before Chan & Naylor, Emily worked as a commercial accountant.  With over ten years experience in both commercial and public practice accounting, Emily brings her sound knowledge and experience in working in small to medium sized businesses to support Chan & Naylor clients.

During her time with Chan & Naylor, Emily has developed extensive knowledge of taxation, investment trusts and Self Managed Superannuation Funds.

Emily holds a Master of Business Administration & Professional Accounting from UTS and is a qualified CPA and registered tax agent in Australia. She thrives on developing her expertise and passing this on to her clients and peers.

Neetu Shankar

Neetu Shankar

Neetu has over 17 years of Accounting and Taxation experience and has been with the Chan & Naylor Parramatta office since 2006. Prior to joining us Neetu worked as a Superannuation Accountant whilst completing her Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Accounting, at Western Sydney University. Neetu has also gained the following qualifications:

  • Qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) in 2012
  • Completed RG146 studies to enable her to meet ASIC’s criteria to provide general SMSF advice
  • Completed RG 243 studies to become an approved SMSF auditor in July 2019

Neetu’s special interests are in Superannuation and Business Services which includes assisting small businesses not only with their compliance and taxation work but also supporting them in all areas of their business, from their day to day bookkeeping, including software support and management, to financial management and strategic tax planning. Neetu is passionate about developing long term relationships with her clients. She is renowned for giving practical and proactive advice helping clients ensure the growth and prosperity of their businesses.
